Im facing big problems with our ZPM (version 11.2.1.12, ZCM: 11.2.1.0). We want to use the ZPM to rollout all WS Updates centrally to all our Clients. Later also other updates like Adobe, skype, etc..
Ive set up a Testlab with one Windows 2008R2 Server (ZCM+ZPM) and 2 Clients (Win7 32bit). Both sides are all up to date (event with the monthly patch).
Now here is the Problem. I installed the patch management agent on both clients, everything seems fine. First thing I noticed is, that the DAU takes very long (about 10 minutes) to install, and it installes itself very often over the day. Is that normal?
Ive looked in the DAU Bundle and found out that it tries to install for example the Mcescan.cab in zenworks_home/workd/content-repo/tmp/zpm/dauzip folder. But the folder dauzip is empty on the ZPM Server. Is this a Problem? Ive already tried to delete the DAU and start a refresh on the Subscription, but didnt help. There are no errors showing in the ZPM so I think it is normal.
Next problem is, that after everything is installed and the Client DAU is updated, I check the Patch list in the client tab. On the client it shows me 10 Win7 updates which are not yet installed. But in the ZPM in the Patch tab, it only shows me 5 updates! Even when I change the filter to everything, it only shows me 5 updates After searching in the complete ZPM Patch Database, I found out, that some are listet as already patched on the client and others are not found in the Patch Database.
Ive tried everything, Updating the subscription, reinstalling the ZPM, installing all updates, Restart Server and Clients but still no fix of the problem
Anybody have an Idea on how this could be fixed?
