Vibe Desktop for Mac crashes

I have a MacBook Pro running OSX 10.5.8. When I install the Vibe Desktop for Mac client it installs okay but when I go to run it I get: Novell Vibe Desktop has encountered a fatal error and will now terminate.

Any ideas why this is happening and is there a solution to get it working?
