I am trying to upload a ppd from my Mac to iprint. I know that I can not do it directly from my Mac but copying the modified ppd (that lists the duplexer as installed and uses duplex as default) to my pc and then upload it to the Driver Store but installing the printer on a Mac is still using default settings that have the Duplex as not even installed. The PPD that I am uploading has the duplexer installed and default. Why does that not get set with the new driver store? What am I missing? How are MAC drivers supposed to be uploaded to the driver store and if they get loaded why do they not seem to keep the settings that were set within that PPD?
