I am attempting "Local Installation on a Notes Client Workstation"

Let's read the following statement
We know that often Metadirectory engine and Identity Vault are installed on OSs like Windows Server, SLES, RHEL ...
In my case Metadirectory engine and Identity Vault are on WIN2K8 R2 64 Bits and Lotus Notes Client is 8.5.2
From IBM (IBM IBM Lotus Notes 8.5.2 System Requirements - Windows - United States System_R-osgroup) Supported OS are XP,VISTA, WIN7 32 bits ( WIN2K8 R2 64 Bits not in the list )
I logically deduce that if Metadirectory engine and Identity Vault on WIN2K8 R2 64 Bits so there is no way to do "Local Installation on a Notes Client Workstation" because Lotus Notes 8.5.2 is not supported on WIN2K8 R2 64 Bits
The situation is not plain for me, could any one explain ?
