Sharing folders from a Net Folder

We have an existing Novell volume of project folders that we would like to share with outside vendors using Filr. Internally, these are presented on the P: drive over the Novell Client. If I make them visible using Net Folders, I can only share individual files, not entire folders. Selecting a sub-folder then clicking "Share" presents the error message, "You do not have the right to share your selections." But if I click on a file in the same folder, I can share as many files as I want with whomever I want. Is there any way to share an entire sub-folder, not just the files?
