I'm installing eDirectory, GroupWise, DSfW, Data Synchronizer Mobility Pack, and BES 10.1 in a test environment. It's virtualized, so each is getting its own guest (SLES11 SP2/OES11 SP1 for all but BES 10.1, which is Windows Server 2012). I'm running into a bit of an issue with DSfW, though. I initially was just going to install eDirectory and DSfW on the same server, but separated it out when I ran into a problem with the DSfW Provisioning Wizard (hoping segregating the potential problems might help). Unfortunately, I'm still not getting any further despite following 7002172...
Installation of DSfW completes successfully, and the DSfW Provisioning Wizard gets through its Provisioning PreCheck. However, the Configure DNS task always fails with...
"Post-check of DNS configuration Failed:[Reverse zone entry is missing]"
I've tried creating the reverse zone manually on the server instance housing DSfW using the DNSDHCP JavaConsole but still get the same error. I also had the same error when originally trying to install eDirectory and DSfW simultaneously on the same server. And separating it out and using the express install option results in this same error, as well. (I did run the DSfW DNS Health Check from DSfWDude and it reported no issues.)
Like I said, I'm sure I'm just missing something very simple... Any advice would be much appreciated.
