Hello,
We are looking to have some program specific configuration files (.xml and .ini) copied into every existing local user profile and into the default user profile (for any new accounts created) as part of the application being deployed.
I believe this could be accompished in some way by using the Launch action to copy the required files to their respective location for that currently logged in user when then launch the program, however, as far as I know that can only be done with ZEN shortcuts for the program and not the native ones...??
Does ZEN have a native way to do this without involving scripting?
If scripting is to be used, could some examples be given on how to best accompish this via ZEN?
Could it be accomplished via a program shortcut being clicked (prefer to use the native shortcuts in the start menu as we do not use the ZEN Application Window or ZEN shortcuts on the desktop, etc...?
The paths would need to work for WinXP (c:\documents and settings\username\application data\program name\) and Win7 (c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\program name\).
I hope I've given enough information so that the question(s) make sense.
Please let me know if you have any ideas or pointers in general.
Thank you in advance.
LK
