New iprint on Windows 8

I have just tried the new nipp (iprint) for windows 8 (64 bit). It install fine, and I was able to add the drivers (64 bit) from the windows 8 computer together with a printer profile. I tried both an HP 4015 machine and a Kyocera colour laser. However, when I try a test print from the printer settings, I get no error messages, but also no printout. Nothing enters to queue on the iprint server, and the windows 8 machine shows nothing residing in the spool queue for printing (both on the printer properties and the iprint client in the tray).

Anyone got any ideas what I can try out to get things working? The server is running on SLES10 with all the latest patches, and is working fine for all the other computers on the network (win7, XP, 2008 etc).
