outdated critical patch

Hello,

At the top of my critical - not supersceded patch list for Windows XP is Sophos Anti-Virus IDE files for v4.07 (July 06, 2006) . We do use Sophos but this is not a current update. Is there any way to get this not to be detected as a current vulnerability? Thanks.
