Groupwise Hyperlinks without the protocol(http) won't open!

Hello, we are experiencing a little issue; if we don't add the protocol(e.g. http://) to a link inserted in the body of the email it won't open for the recipient. The error says windows cannot find, make sure you typed the name correctly.

So Google works but not Google

Any ideas if this is possible to fix?
