Groupwise 8.0.2 crashing

For one of my users, and as far as I know, it is only one, the desktop Groupwise client is unusable. It has been uninstalled and reinstalled countless times with no change. Immediately upon opening, the client crashes. If it does open successfully, it will crash when the "New Mail" button is clicked, but usually it crashes before that. This has happened in version 8.0.1 and 8.0.2. Web mail works perfectly, in addition, his account can be logged in on the same version of the client on another machine, even an identical Dell laptop, and will run falwlessly. Are there any known incompatibilities or software that should not be loaded on a machine running this version?
