Good Morning Everyone:
I have, which I hope, is a quick question about setting passwords.
Situation:
We have admin accounts that are forced to use a smartcard to log in. What the AD team wants us to do is reset the admin password to a very complex password to avoid the account being compromised. There will be a situation that the person will request the reset of the password, we are going to handle that Via workflow then set a flag on the account for a rule to pick up and leverage the adminpassword policy set in eDir to set the password. This is where my question comes in.
I am foggy on what the difference is between "Set destination password", what attribute does this action set ? How does this differ from the nspmDistributionpassword ? I have looked through documents but cannot get a clear feel to how to handle this.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
Sheryl
