Hey all,
I've seen references in the forum and others lately regarding your tree name and having an A record in DNS. I've never heard of this until lately. We use SLP like everybody else and it works just fine. QUESTIONS:
1) Why would I do this?
2) What advantage/value do I get out of this?
3) Do I point to just one server with a replica or all 3 of my servers with a replica?
4) What's the proper syntax. ex tree name = college_tree So you have a dns entry like this = college_tree.edu > xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Thanks
Hans
