Moving Images to New Zone

I am working with a client that wants to setup a new ZCM zone. He has quite a few native ZCM images in his current "broken" ZCM (v11) zone - mostly database issues. Other than copying the actual image files from content-repo folder to the new primary server, I was wondering what else I should be considering/looking for.
