Broken DFS Junctions

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I am having a problem where any DFS junction I make is broken.

Background -

I have a single tree environment, with a single OES server in it.

I have made a management context using the root of the tree.

Have two nss pools, Pool1 = 8tb, Pool2 = 2tb (basically I'm trying to use DFS to get around the 8tb pool limit).

I create a DFS junction point using imanager somewhere in Pool1, which points to somewhere in Pool2.

imanager reports that the junction point was created successfully.

The junction point shows up as a folder on my windows client, but when I try to open it I get the message

"v:\testjuction refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer, or on a network. Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted or that you are connected to the Internet or your network, and then try again. If it still cannot be located, the information might have been moved to a different location."

When I do an "ls -ali" in the folder where I created the junction point on my OES server, it shows the link as being broken.

I have recreated my management context, and my junction points, repaired my vldb, all to no avail.

Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks much,

Taylor Hammerling
