iPad/iPhone only receives meetings

We are running GW8 hp3 on an SLES 11 sp2 server. I have one user that uses both an iPad and and iPhone that does not receive any calendar events to his mobile devices except a meeting scheduled by another user. I have several iPhone/iPad users, but only this user is experiencing this problem. If he enters any type of calendar event from his desktop, the meeting/posted appointment will display correctly on his desktop. If he creates the event from one of his mobile devices, the event with show in the other mobile device, but not his desktop. If the secretary creates a meeting, the event will show on all devices. If she creates a posted appointment, it only will display on his desktop. He recently upgraded to iPhone 5 for iPhone 4, and his iPad is the latest generation. I am not aware of any settings on his account that is different than my other iOS users.

Any ideas?
