Boot from Zen disk
run zisedit -c
run img
Put XP image on a machine.
Image works fine the machine works fine.
Rename the machine. Everything works fine.
install ZCM 11.24 agent
upon reboot the window pops up that Zenworks is finalizing the configuration of this workstation
Contextless login now does not work because LDAP server cannot be resolved.
Login
DNS no longer works
Cannot ping a name
Obviously internet cannot surf via name
Can ping using ip
Internet does work if I go to IP Address
Resetting or manually putting in DNS information does not help.
ipconfig /flushdns does not help
rebuilding the ipstack does not help.
Upon EVERY reboot the Zenworks agent tries to finalize the configuration of the workstation!
The x64 agent for my Windows 7 machines work just fine.
