Hi All,
I've been trying to track down a Logon issue on XenDesktop 7.1... I'm seeing delays across multiple versions of Windows (Win 7, 2008R2 and 2012) when using the Novell Client and the TSClientAutoAdminLogon feature. The issue is not present when using the previous version of the XenDesktop VDA (7.0). I was hoping this would be a sufficient workaround however we do need the latest VDA to solve some issues with AutoCAD and other AutoDesk products.
I've put together a little YouTube video that compares the logon experience between the two versions:
XenDesktop 7.1 Novell Login - YouTube
I can confirm this behaviour is consistent between different versions of the Novell Client, including the current release.
Is there something that can be done to resolve this issue or troubleshoot further? Our file servers are running OES Linux so we may be able to utilise CIFS to provide access to files in the interim though I would much rather file access be provided via NCP.
I would be interested to know if anyone else is seeing the same issue in their Citrix environment!
Cheers,
John
