I noticed the load average spikes up on the Filr appliance when syncronizing or users are logged in. I was planning to put filr behind a load balancer so that when users go to filr.my.org they will get any of the Filr instances I have. I was also planning to use the same DB and Search appliance for the different instances of Filr I have. But I dont know if that is supported, or if Filr keeps stuff in /vastorage that are never meant to be shared. So the question is basically can I run different filr instances with a single instance of search and database appliance? And if a user changes a file in one appliance, would he observe the same change when he logs in next time on another instance? Mind you I dont want high availability through clustering.
