NW 6.5 SP8 fully patched server had volume with corrupt beast tree, so we had to delete and recreate. After restoring the files, MS Office 2007 files (mainly Word) are taking 30+ seconds to open.
Level 2 Oplocks set OFF and Client File Caching Enabled set OFF on server. NW clients have caching off and commit on.
Issue only seems to be from WinXP, although these same workstations opened these files OK prior to volume issue.
Any ideas?
