I am new to the SLES environment. Our company just purchased the enterprise Suse Linux, we want to incorporate it with our current Windows 2008 Domain and applying AD permissions to folders and files on the Linux server. I would like to know how to apply domain groups to the folders and files. I have a lab stood up and want to use as an example the following:
MAC_DATA (Folder name)
hawkeyetest\Domain Users (NT group)
hawkeyetest\MAC Users Access (NT group)
I am not sure if more than 1 group could have access permissions to folder or not. If they can't then my next question would be how to add a AD group to a local group in Linux to apply to the folder ACL?
