Novell variable to Windows variable

%Home_Directory is only Novell variable

Is there any way to get it recognized also as Windows variable?

I need to use GPO (from AD) to redirect Desktop to UNC path (otherwise pinned Taskbar icons do not work), so using (it it were possible) %Home_Directory\Desktop would be the easiest global option for me
