We are currently in the process of migrating a majority of our Wndows XP environment over to Windows 7 x64 Enterprise. We have been successful in our deployments via Zenworks 11.2.3a.
Our problem is now that when students (K-12) school district login Novell, their network drives does not map... obviously you can see how this could be an issue. Sometimes a kid will get lucky and it will map. A possible work around (temporary at most) is to right click the N on the toolbar and relogin that way. I've even had some say you don't need to login, you just need to prompt the "Novell login.." box to come in, without typing a password - hit enter.. and their drives map.
I have troubleshooted through multiple TIDs, spanning from reinstalling the client, checking the login script, allowing login scripts to run synchronously..
I'm completely out of options. If somebody would have any insight into this issue it would be great. I haven noticed this to be a reoccurring theme with the Novell client on Windows 7, as I have seen at least a dozen posts in recent searches regarding this issue..
Secondly.. the "Show Advanced Options" on the Novell splash/login screen does not work unless you type your password in incorrectly. You can click it and nothing will pop up. This is not a normal behavior.
