I recently got a new Windows 2008 server, I also had a small router running DHCP for the network. I made the windows 08 server take over the DHCP role, added the IP's exclusion's to the IP address pool so it will not allocate the Netware servers IP to any machines.
Windows 08 IP pool is 10.0.0.50-10.0.0.150 while my Netware servers IP is 10.0.0.200.
When I brought the server back up I could not login to it or ping it. I've tried removing the context and server name and only putting the IP address in the tree field. Still nothing. I've also ran dsrepair which came back with nothing, I can also ping other machines on the network. Pretty sure the subnet hasn't been altered in anyway either. I also tried removing the 08 server from the network, setting the routers role back to DHCP and restarting the netware server still didn't allow me to login or ping.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Steven.
