I have several SLES 11 SP1 servers that I updated with the latest NFS client and still have issues with NFS mounts at boot. The first NFS entry in /etc/fstab is not mounted when the systems reboot. I tried putting sleep command in /etc/init.d/nfs, I tried backgrounding the mount command, I tried using Yast to edit /etc/fstab instead of vi, I have tried everything I could think of and finally got fed up and added a "mount -a" to a script that runs right at the end of booting as a kludge.
