Hey everybody,
Having some problems with users with laptops that connect to home networks/airport whatever that are expieriencing very long login times. I was able to replicate this problem on my computer. It takes about 30 seconds to get to my desktop if I turn off my wifi card and have no cable plugged in. If I turn on the wifi card and/or plug a network cable in (that doesn't go to our corporate LAN) The login time goes to around 1.5min (at the quickest, it's taken up to 3min). Inside the zmd-message.log file I found these two lines that seem to take awhile to get through.
[DEBUG] [01/30/2012 14:08:53.110] [1832] [ZenworksWindowsService] [3] [] [ConnectMan] [] [Waiting for notification of address up / address down.] [] []
[DEBUG] [01/30/2012 14:10:11.835] [1772] [ZenworksWindowsService] [6] [] [InitZMD] [] [Start Init] [] []
I've tried changing the timeout settings in the ZCM console to lower the number of retries, and the time it waits in between. It hasn't seemed to change anything. Can anybody point me in the right direction please?
