I've set up a new Messenger server in my environment. After completing all the configuration, I was able to start the agent, but I couldn't log in from my client. I suspected it may be SSL-related, so I re-ran config.sh, removing the SSL settings. Ever since I've done that, the agent won't launch at all.
When I try launching the init script, it reports the failure, but the process does indeed start and continues to run.
I've tried testing by running without --daemon, and I get "NMMA: Cleaning Up" and that's it. The process completely locks up and will not respond to a SIGINT, the only thing I can do at that point is SIGKILL it. It does not create the /var/opt/novell/messenger/ma log file, and I can't see that it's writing to any other logs.
This is Messenger 2.2.2 running on SLES 11.2
How can I go about troubleshooting this?
