I work for a K12 school district and every year several hundred groups representing classes are created in AD for various purposes. We use scheduled LDAP import to bring them (and users) into Filr. These classes are used as security principals for locations that will be accessed in Filr as Net Folders, so the ldap query cannot be adjusted to simply avoid importing them. Filr uses them.
At the end of the year, they are deleted and new ones are created during the following year. I don't want to get into manually deleting them from the GUI which would be a very inefficient process. Is there any better method for bulk group deletion in Filr? Perhaps a command-line based method?
The same need applies to graduating students bloating our database over time.
Any suggestions?
