Planning to move GW8 on NW65 to GW2012 on Windows Srvr 2012

We are first going to test moving our own in house mail. Then we have 2 clients that are in the same situation.

Has any one done this? Any advice?

This is a weird question... if my client has current Novell Maintenance for NOWS SBE will he be able to take the Groupwise license and use it on the Windows platform?
