I would like someone's help to clarify this. I have setup migration tools to migrate iPrint service from the source to destination server. I selected the driver database and print manager objects for source and destination.
Migration type is consolidate. Does that mean it will copy over the settings and drivers from the source? Or will it completely move the service to the destination? I am not ready to start it yet because I don't know what it might do. what does consolidate mean? I checked the documentation, it says
"Consolidate helps you reorganize your network by copying the service configuration and data from any number of source servers to the target server"
So, has anyone done it before? does it really copy over the settings and leave them intact in the source? Or once consolidation is complete the service data and settings are no longer active in the source?
