Vmware disk provisioning

Hello,

Are they really suggesting that you must you thick provisioning when deploying this?

Or are they suggesting that if you want to use FT that you must use thick provisioning? As FT requires it.


Also, they suggest 8GB of memory in a large deployment, yet the appliance doesn't use any more than about 3GB. Based on "free -m" on the console.
