Can ZENAA.NLM be loaded in protected memory?

On our NetWare 6.5.8 servers, the ZENAA v10.00 is causing abends when we run rsync. I have tried to load the module in other address space: load address space = zen zenaa.nlm

But I get an error SERVER-5.70-2187 [nmID=D0006] Removed address space because of memory protection violation. Reason, Page Fault, Attempt to read from non-present page.

I have also had the rsync load in protected memory, but I still get the abends.

Has anyone tried something like this before? If so, has it worked? This is affecting 23 production servers.
