Group Membership is cleared when LDAP syncs

Under Groups - I have created a group called High_Staff for High School staff members. I have set the group membership to be dynamic. I went in and defined the Base DN to be "ou=staff,ou=high,o=sdoj" and the filter to be "(|(objectClass=Person)(objectClass=orgPerson)(obj ectClass=inetOrgPerson))". This is only 1 folder so 1 do not checkmark Search Subtree but I do checkmark Update Group membership during LDAP sync to keep this group current. I run test LDAP query and it comes up with 102 teachers. Works great.

Under LDAP - I have my LDAP source configured and the Users configured for each of my ou's. Under Groups, nothing.
For User settings:
checkmark - sync user profiles
checkmark - Register LDAP user profiles automatically
For Group settings:
I have tried everything.
1. Checkmark -sync group profiles and checkmark - Register LDAP Group profiles automatically and checkmark - sync group membership and it clears the 102 teachers out of my Group called High_Staff.
2. Checkmark -sync group profiles and checkmark - Register LDAP Group profiles automatically and it clears the 102 teachers out of my Group called High_Staff.
3. No checkmarks at all under groups and it still clears the 102 teachers out of my Group called High_Staff.

The only way to not clear the group was to remove the checkmark to not update the group during LDAP sync under the group, but that will not update my group membership then.

Any ideas?
