LDAP configuration error 49

We have an Active Directory environment with 600 users and would like to see if we can integrate filr into this.
Installation and initial configuration of appliance went well, everything seems to be running OK.
Our problem is configuring the darn LDAP settings to sync with the AD...

We receive [LDAP: error code 49 - 80090308: LdapErr: DSID-0C090334, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, data 525, vece]

Our settings are
LDAP server URL: ldap://DC.lab.uu.se:389
(We have tried ldaps://DC.lab.uu.se:636 as well which generated error:Remote host closed connection during handshake)
User DN: cn=username,ou=Users,ou=Data,ou=Lab,dc=lab,dc=uu,d c=local
LDAP attribute (group): objectGUID
LDAP attribute (User): uid
Base DN: ou=Lab,dc=lab,dc=uu,dc=local

The user "username" above is being used in other LDAP apps so we now it is working.
The AD servers are Windows Server 2003.

Any suggestions where to look and what to change are welcome ;-)
