why not Postgress - a silly question ?

I start downloading the Filr, and came to know that Filr uses MySQL.
As Filr is supposed to be a very Enterprise Class product.. any reason why Novell choses MySQL rather Postgress.

Also MySQL is continuously loosing the community because of its new Owner, also the new Owner is slowly turning MySQL into closed source (Disappearing test cases or did another part of MySQL just become closed source? « The MariaDB Blog)
even Novell can consider the MariaDB, a fork of MySQL.
