SLP issue, I think..

Was redirected to this client forum. Randomly, users have problems accessing remote servers via UNC path. Currently, I'm having the same issue. Running client v 4.91 sp5 (ir1) on a windows xp pro machine. I'm unable to access \\fsu . However, I can ping fsu and get a response. Also, if I access \\serverip, it works.. then I'm able to immediately do \\fsu and it'll work. Its like it has to wake up/find it.

My SLPDA's are both netware boxes, so that might matter. Here is my SLPINFO /all
