Sort by Thread newest message date

The default thread view sorts the threads by the date of each thread's first message. Is there a way to instead sort by each thread's newest message, i.e. the thread containing the newest message is listed first, and so on? The way the inbox is sorted in Gmail.

Note that I'm talking about how threads as a whole are positioned in relation to other threads, not the ordering of messages within threads.
