superceded install files

On linux primary, over the many upgrades there is now a large collection of superceded .msi and .rpm files taking up much needed space in /opt/novell/zenworks/install/downloads

Can these be safely deleted once all the managed devices in the zone are baselined ?

Is it possible to move the /opt/novell/zenworks/install/downloads to a larger filesystem and then link it back to the correct location?
