unable to open a zmg

Hi,

I'm running 11.2.2 with december update for imaging on SLES.

What we do to migrate from XP to Seven is the following :
Capture the XP image of the device
Wipe out the disk and put seven
Then restore the xp second partition to the seven second partition
We do that using a script.

It is working great except this week-end. Due to a network outage one of the device did not finish his capture image and then loop back.
So the disk has been wipe out but we have the XP zmg.

The issue is that zmgexp failed to open the zmg file with a java heap error. Obviously the zmg does not finish very well. Is there a way to open it outside of zmgexp so we could at least get back a piece of the data ?
