Windows 7 install at boot bundles - status window?

I've got some software bundles set up to run on device boot so users *should* have the apps installed and ready to use once they log in. The installation schedule works OK if I watch the HDD activity and by intuition () know when the installation has most likely completed...

...users on the other hand won't (and shouldn't) know this and would just log in as soon as they're physically able to. This could lead to problems if the machine gets shut down halfway through a larger silent installation. I remember seeing a little window that popped up on the XP machines I did a ZCM course with when testing Linked Application Bundles so is there any way to achieve a similar result on Windows 7? The main requirement for this is post-imaging when preparing the machine for first use but would be handy at other times too.

Slide 27 of Windows 7 Deployment with Novell ZENworks Configuration Management ... shows pretty much the type of UI I want but ENGL is far from cheap to get a feature that I keep thinking must be there in ZCM but I've just missed how to do it?
