Post Imaging ZPM Patch deployment?

Is anyone automating Patch deployment using ZPM directly after you image a system? If so can you share how you are managing that type of deployment?

I create a set of Monthly patch bundles for Windows 7 and XP as well as Office 2010 and I am wondering if the easiest way to do a patch deployment is to create a Post-Image bundle with links to the Patch bundles. My only concern is that some of the Patch's will require a reboot before other patches can be deployed. How best to do this is where I am stuck.
