gwia return 550 error on distrobution list that works inside

Internet addressing is setup in ConsoleOne on the distrobution lists but on the GroupWise identification tab E-Mail Address is blank and cannot be filled in. If you attempt to manually put the email address in it will not save it. We are running GroupWise 8.0.2
