Hi,
current situation: we have just one primary server on Windows Server 2008 Standard SP2 (x86). Database is SQL Server 2005 SP2 on the same machine.
We would like to install Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 x86_64 plus SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 on another machine, and somehow copy the content-repo and the database content to this machine, without disrupting current users. After the copy, the new machine would get the IP and DNS name of the old one. Is this feasible and documented somewhere?
Regards,
Marc Delisle
