Password for groupwise user

I post my question in this forum because, i want to know if it is possible to force user to change tehir GROUPWISE password periodically.
We don't use ldap autentication for groupwise, so we use groupwise password.
In console one, on a user it is possible to force a perodic change of password but think it works on edirectoery login but not groupwise login.
Is there a way ?
