Going through disaster recovery for a ZCM 11.1a server running SLES 10 as per documentation 35.2 Replacing a Primary Server with a new primary server.
I am able to restore the server's identity using a previously made zenserver backup and restore the certificate authority without error. When the 'restored' server connects to the current database it fails to refresh and the contact time is not updated. I was able to get it to communicate again by re-establishing trust via zman retr. Is this to be expected when doing a restore on different hardware or did something go wrong during the restore procedure? I've done a server restore to different hardware under zcm 10.3.x and never ran into this.
