Internal Cert question

I recently renewed/moved my cert so that it reflected the Primary server name/ip change. I now have the verification for the cert on the client side repeatedly where before it didn't prompt. It shows the server name changed to zen-p1 like it should and the cert seems to work but my question is whether this is expected behavior or did I miss a step in the process along the way.

During my move I did split the DB to its own server so I now have a external sybase server and a new primary server.

I am running a zac retr to reconnect the systems which seems to be working for most of the client systems but with the cert verification question. This will even happen during a unreg / reg process.
