WOL on manually generated Workstation on 11.2.2 fail

Hello
i updated to 11.2.2 and tried to import workstations with a csv file and this is not possible.
So I created each workstation manually with DNS Name and MAC Address.
WOL with this workstation is not possible.
WOL with workstations created with installed agent will work fine.
Why is it not possible to wake up workstations only with the MAC address?
